LOT 1279 Seller's Estimate: USD 1,000 - 1,500 ORIENTAL RUG: HERIZ 8'10" x 11'10" Gabled medallion of navy blue, light blue, ivory and dark red centered on a dark brick red field with a light blue meandering vine bearing red, blue, pink, yellow and ivory leaves and blossoms. Ivory subfield. Red and light blue spandrels. Navy blue main border with bold stylized blossoms and serrated leaves. Condition Report: Early 20th Century. Most significant wear indicates traffic pattern across one end of field and adjacent border exposing random areas of wear. Please refer to the auction start time to calculate when this item will be sold. We sell in lot order and generally sell 80 items per hour. Auction sales are final and requests to cancel bids after the auction will be denied. Shipment of purchases can take 4-6 weeks from date of payment. All checks must be drawn from a US bank in US funds. Eldred's reserves the right to hold merchandise until payment clears. Under no circumstances will Eldred's accept Paypal. Master Card and Visa are accepted provided that the total invoice amount is $5,000 USD or less and the credit card billing address is tied to a valid US zip code. International credit cards are NOT accepted under any circumstances. Shipping: The buyer is responsible for paying all shipping costs and arranging for shipping and delivery with the seller. Additional shipping details from the seller: In all cases the packing and shipping will be handled by an outside agent and arranged for by the purchaser. Eldreds uses the local UPS store or Pak Mail store. Eldred's will provide alternative shipping suggestions for items to large to be handled by these firms. Any other arrangements are the responsibility of the purchaser. Eldred's must be informed as to such arrangements. After payment purchases will not be kept in Eldred's possession pending delivery, for more than a week. The UPS store, Pak Mail Store or shipper of purchasers discretion will be responsible for removing them and storing them at the purchasers expense until shipment. Eldred's will not be responsible for damage or loss once the item has been received by the shipper. In the case of fragile articles, shipping will be undertaken at the sole discretion of the shipper.
