Up for auction is a late 1940's original (not a reproduction or digital Copy or recent reprint)of the Los Angeles Harbor area in California showing the SS Lafayette and crew cargo ship at the port of LA . This auction is for (2) photos. The photo measures 8" by 10" and is in good condition with very slight age yellowing, edge wear and no cigarette smell.(Any reflection " White Area" on photo is from my flash and doesn't appear on the actual photo) I recently purchased a huge collection of early 1940's to early 1950's original ship photos taken at San Pedro and Los Angeles Harbor(Long Beach) California. The collection focuses on WWII Victory Ships, Tramp Steamers, and freighters.By the amount of photos it appears he took a picture of every ship that came into harbor. The collection has been in storage for over 40 years and is in good to very good condition. I'll be listing them as I sort through them. All photos sold "as is" with no return . I accept cashiers checks or postal m.o.s. Buyer pays for actual mailing costs or $2.90 in the USA, International rates are $6.25 for Global Priority air mail.Insurance is optional at $1.30 per $50.00 coverage but I cannot be responsible for lost or damage items by the post office .
