This is an original ca 1900 cabinet card photograph of the “Heye Bros., Saddles, Harness, Etc.”. The photo is identified on back as “Saddle Shop in Lockhart, Uncle Fritz Heye with Papa.”. Photo shows the exterior of building with two men and two young boys standing in front. I found saddler William H. Heye in the 1900 census for Lockhart, Caldwell Co, Texas. A banner can be seen hanging perpendicular to the painted sign; though hard to see, it apparently has a saddle on it. A dry goods store is to the right. The photo is 5 x 7” and card is 8 x 10.” Saddle-making, Texana. Condition: card has lots of foxing, wear at the corners, and a crease along the right side. Image is somewhat dim. We try to give an accurate description of any condition issues, provide photos, and welcome questions. We do not give partial refunds, so if an item does not meet your expectations please contact us within three days of item’s arrival to arrange return and a full refund.
