Original, old coloured copper map J.B. Homann ~1720 "Imperium Turcicum" An attractive map of the Turkish Empire by Homann. Also you can see parts of Europe, Asia and Africa! Very decorativ!!! Johann Baptist Homann (*1663 - + 1724) was a German cartographer, publisher and engraver. After Homanns death the enterprise was taken over by his son Johann Christoph Homann (* 1703; + 1730). Homann jun. appointed Johann George Ebersberger and Johan Michael Franz as managing directors. After Homann jun. death the enterprise was then continued under the name " Homannsche Erben ". Size of the leaf appr.: 60cm x 51cm condition: little folded at the center, Good condition! (See Photos!) This is an originale map! No reproduction! Originale, altkolorierte Kupferkarte J.B. Homann ~1720 "Imperium Turcicum" Die Karte zeigt im Zentrum die Türkei, weiterhin Teile von Europa, Asien und Afrika! Gesamtgrösse: ca. 60cm x 51cm Zustand: Mittelfalte. Guter Zustand! (Siehe Fotos!) Johann Baptist Homann war ein deutscher Kartograph, Verleger und Kupferstecher. Nach dem Tod Homanns ging sein Unternehmen auf dessen Sohn Johann Christoph Homann (* 1703; + 1730) über. Er setzte seine beiden Geschäftsführer, Johann Georg Ebersberger und Johan Michael Franz zu Erben des Unternehmens ein. Nach seinem Tod wurde das Unternehmen dann unter dem Namen "
