Outstanding & original Japanese woodblock print book, EARLY SAMURAI, c1690. Volume measures 6 1/3 X 9 inches (closed) and has 100 pages, 32 of which have early woodblocks, including a rare torture scene. Original covers, contents complete, some wormage, generally fair to good shape for the age & GUARANTEED AUTHENTIC. NOTE: This volume was too large for my scanner. The pages are UNTRIMMED & have FULL MARGINS. Be sure to add me to your favorites list and check out my other items for more interesting things from Japan. Buyer pays ACTUAL SHIPPING COSTS.
