You are bidding on an EXTRA LARGE LIMITED-NUMBER (37/150) very beautiful and special original Japanese Shin Hanga woodblock print “ Soutai Temple ” PENCIL SIGNED by the Japanese Shin-Hanga woodblock print Master Imai Takehisa (1940 -) made in 19 70s IN EXCELLENT CONDITION . This is an original woodblock print about 40 years old. This woodblock print is one of the core collections of a large number of gorgeous, different-styled Japanese woodblock print collections in my family. We are gradually selling them. This is a $300 woodblock print sold at a gallery in Japan. The size of this woodblock print is 18 1/2 x 13 ½ inches, which is LARGER than the traditional Shin-Hanga woodblock print . The colors, which are vivid and vibrant, are in layers. Four borders are intact. This woodblock print is not attached to any backing paper or cardboard and strong ink bleeding can be seen through the back of the original Japanese mulberry Washi paper.
