You are bidding on a very beautiful and special ORIGINAL Japanese woodblock print “ Bird ” signed by the famous Shin-Hanga woodblock print artist Toshi Yoshida (1911-1995) made in Showa Era COME WITH THE OROIGINALCERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY ISSUED BY FEANKLIN GALLERY TOKYO . This woodblock print is one of the core collections of a large number of Asian arts and Japanese woodblock print collections in my family. Toshi Yoshida, son of Hiroshi Yoshida, is one of the most famous Shin-Hanga woodblock artists in Showa Era. His work can be found in various Japanese woodblock print books such as “Shin-Hanga New Prints in Modern Japan” by Kendall Brown and Hollis Goodall-Cristante, Los-Angels County Museum of Art, 1996. Information on Toshi Yoshida and the prices of his woodblock prints can be found at Internet . His woodblock prints are highly searched for by collectors around the world. The artist’s signature, chop mark , and the title of the print are at the lower right corner of the print. Another Toshi Yoshida’s signature in English is in the bottom border. All four borders are intact. The size of this woodblock print is 9 ¾ x 7 ½ inches. The colors, which are vivid and vibrant, are in layers.
