This woodblock print is one of the core collections of a large number of Asian arts and Japanese woodblock print collections in my family. Toshi Yoshida, son of Hiroshi Yoshida, is one of the most famous Shin-Hanga woodblock artists in Showa Era. His work can be found in various Japanese woodblock print books such as “Shin-Hanga New Prints in Modern Japan” by Kendall Brown and Hollis Goodall-Cristante, Los-Angels County Museum of Art, 1996. Information on Toshi Yoshida and the prices of his woodblock prints can be found at Internet . His woodblock prints are highly searched for by collectors around the world. The artist’s signature, chop mark , and the title of the print are at the lower right corner of the print. Another Toshi Yoshida’s signature in English is in the bottom border.
