Orig Old Marjory Stocking Hart *Leopard* Oil Painting ...... Just a couple of weeks ago I had another Marjory Stocking Hart Oil Painting of two Blackbirds with large green leaves. This 20" by 24" Canvas Oil Painting of a Mother Leopard and her Cub is by the same artist and from the same source. Marjory Stocking resided in Greenwich Connecticut and was an illustrator and painter. She exhibited in over thirty solo shows from coast to coast and exhibited in Bruce Museum, Greenwich, CT. Awards: Beaux Arts Medal. She illustrated for Harper's, Century, Blue Book, New York American, and Musical American Courier. Painted in 1969 the artist has captured in this painting a moment that all mothers and their offspring can relate to. The colors you see in my photos are the true colors of this painting and the condition is perfect without any repairs. The solid Oak Frame measures 24 ¼" by 29 ¼".
