This is an "Old" Vintage / Antique, original School Desk Dip Ink Well. Clear glass bottle with screw on Bakelite Top which has a sliding cover for the ink hole. It is marked "American Seating Co. No. 60" on the top and "60" is embossed in the bottom of the glass. This is in remarkably good condition - glass is clean, clear and free of defects. Top threads on and off easily. The sliding hole cover moves easily and other than a little roughness on the very bottom - this top is in great condition. Measures 1-3/4" high x 2" dia at top and 1-7/16" dia at bottom. Should fit a hole of about 1-5/8" to 1-7/8". We are listing 2 more of these wonderful Ink Wells today and will be happy to combine purchases to save shipping.
