This is an ORIGINAL UNISSUED WW II ARMY OFFICERS CHOCOLATE BROWN WOOL DRESS JACKET DATED 1945 SIZE 36 SHORT. I took the measurements myself. From arm pit to arm pit it is 19 inches Long. From the top of the shoulder to the end of the sleeve cuff it is 23 inches Long, From the top of the collar to the bottom of the jacket it is 30 inches Long. On one sleeve it still has the original cutters tag from the manufacturer. (T are a couple small holes on one sleeve and the back from being cought on something). On the front t 4 buttons for clouser (3 gold colored buttons with Army Officers Buttons and 1 plastic brown coffee colored button (W the belt goes over). T are 2 breast pockets and 2 large bottom pockets with Army Officers Buttons and flaps. On the inside of one of the large bottom pocket is a sewn in label with the following information : Coat, Wool, Elastique, O.D. Dark, Officers', M-1944, Code No. 720, P.O. 10817, Dated Jan. 15, 1945, Spec., P.Q.D. No. 149C, Pat. Date March 1, 1944, Stock No. 55-C-39736-95, Phila. Q.M. Depot, Size 36 S, 162 Inspector. Around the waist on the back t are belt loops for the belt, The belt buckle is also a gold color. On the shoulders t are eplets also with Army Officers Buttons. Inside the jacket has a greenish satin type of lining. Also on the inside t is a sewn in label which reads REGULATION, ARMY OFFICERS COAT WITH THE ARMY OFFICERS EMBLEM. The Army Officers Chocolate Brown Wool Dress Jacket Dated 1945, Size 36 Short is in near new to new condition. (Do to long term storage & a couple small holes on one sleeve and the back).
