This is ORIGINAL WW II WESTINGHOUSE HELMET LINER WITH KAHKI WEBBING. The outside looks like it has been repainted with an OD color rough sand type type of finish. On the front t is a Sargents decal. (I do not know when the Sargents decal was placed on the helmet liner). (On the back of the helmet liner t are 2 cracks approx. 3/4 inch Long). Inside on the bottom of the liner it is stamped with the Westinghouse logo (a circle and the letter W inside the circle) and the number 14. The inside webbing is a kahki color webbing and is all intact. Stamped on the kahki webbing is the letter C. Someone wrote t name on the kahki webbing which is hard to make out. The metal fastners that hold the webbing in place looks like they could be an OD (green) color. The Westinghouse Helmet Liner With Kahki Webbing is in used good condition.
