Original WW2 "RCAF / Royal Canadian Air Force" full size medal group with log book and extras named to "Flight Sergeant / Air Gunner R178083 George Quist Hansen". He was from "Standard, Alberta" and flew with "431 Iroquois Squadron". He was killed in action flying a night mission over "Montzen, Belgium" on "April 27th, 1944". He was in Halifax bomber "MZ 526". He is buried at "Schoonselhof Cemetary, Antwerp, Wilrijk, Belgium". Hansen trained at "No 3 Manning Depot, Edmonton". Other missions that Hansen flew included "Frankfurt / Hanover / Kassel / Paris / Lens / Xety / Karlsruhe / Essen and his last Montzen". The grouping includes the following :1. 1939 - 1945 Star.2. Aircrew Europe Star.3. CVSM (missing overseas bar).4. WW2 War Medal.5. Observers and Air Gunners Flying Log Book.6. Memorial Cross7. Birks Bar in folder8.
