This is an ALL original Seth Thomas Office Clock #6-1928 with the long pendulum drop, time only, regulator wall clock in dark oak. The office #6 is a classic and majestic time only regulator, and was frequently used for accuracy in home, office, stores and venues. Measurement are 31"H x 15.5 W x 6 D. Old oak cabinet, original 12 inch dial with polished brass sash. Pendulum length 16 inches, long drop pendulum. Now for the good and bad news. This clock hung in the projectionist booth in the CAPITOL THEATRE in Cleveland, Ohio since it's manufacture. The Capitol Theatre began as a vaudville theater and then in the 1920's as a movie theater. This theater is still the largest theater in Cleveland with over 1500 seats. It has been closed since the middle 1970's and has been given just this month 1.5 million to renovate it to it's past splendor. I acquired the clock when the theater closed, but had noticed the clock as a teenager in the 1960's and I was also determined to own it one day. At the time the projectionist didn't want to give the clock up since he was timing his films with it. The bad new is he had spray painted the sides and top/bottom black to keep the glare out of his eyes. He also put one extra hole to sturdy it to the wall as shown in picture.
