This FANTASTIC ORIGINAL HISTORIC May 6, 1865 NEWSPAPER is in good condition for its age. This Harper's Weekly, printed in New York, cost six cents and was the leading pictorial and documented action newspaper of the Era. Incredible illustrations including, but not limited to: President Lincoln on the cover; Death Bed of President Lincoln; Lincoln's Funeral Procession; Lincoln's Funeral Service at the White House; Ford's Theater; Citizens Viewing Lincoln in State at City Hall New York; and more. Many detailed stories including coverage of The President and Rebel Chiefs; General Sherman; The Presidents Funeral in New York; social commentary; humors of the day and more; politics, foreign and domestic issues; and many advertisements of the day including firearms, Lincoln Memorial Badges, beds and more.
