Original 18th-19th Century Black Powder Priming Horn-2 I am pleased to offer this great-looking original 19th century (or quite possibly earlier) priming powder horn from the flintlock era. Great color/patina. Plug secured with square nails and three brass tacks. Tip nicely carved with a coggled decoration. It measures 7" along the contour and 6" on a straight line. No cracks, splits, holes, or insect damage ...its great! See my other auctions for powder horns etc. ...Get someone an authentic piece of Americana for the holidays. Shipping is $5.80 in the continental US. Alaska, Hawaii, and non-US buyers should email me for a shipping quote. Winning bidders are expected to pay within 10 calendar days of invoice. No personal checks. Non-US buyers should check with me before bidding for a shipping estimate. Insurance is optional, at current USPS rates, and solely at the buyers risk/discretion. I've had very good luck with things getting w they need to be in good shape but the buyer must decide whether to assume the risk of not insuring. Note that the posted insurance rate is only good for items valued up to $50 and will need to be adjusted for items above that amount according to USPS rate tables ...ask me if you need help with that.
