For auction, is an late 1800's or early 1900's original J. P. Coats spool thread cabinet. This cabinet is in its original condition. The labels on the drawers are wearing away and I believe those decals are available on eBay by other sellers. The back side of the cabinet has a slat of the original veneer which needs replacement. Actually, in its condition now, it is a beautiful antique cabinet if you choose not to restore it. T are six drawers with dovetail grooves and glass drawer pulls in outstanding original condition. The cabinet measures 19" high, 25" wide and 17" deep. T are very few of these J. P. Coats cabinets left and they were used in the general stores in the late 1800's and early 1900s for storing spool threads. Once restored, these cabinets are valued at more than $3,000.00 in local antique stores although many prefer the original condition of these cabinets, now more than 100 years old. This cabinet would make a great piece for storing silverware or as a tv stand or night stand. Being sold as is with no reserve, the winning bidder is responsible for making shipping arrangements and costs. This cabinet weighs approximately 45 lbs. Also available for local pickup, I am located in Sussex County, Delaware. Items listed by this seller have been acquired through estate sales, auction houses, antique stores, consignment and private purchases. I do my best to list a complete description of what I see. All items are sold as is with no refunds with the exception of any misrepresentations by the seller (i.e., an overlooked flaw). Any refunds given will be completed once the item is returned. Shipping is not refundable. Most items shipped USPS priority mail with delivery confirmation for your protection and mine. Most auctions end on Sunday evening and items are prepared for shipping and mailed on Wednesdays. If payment is not made by Tuesday, your item will be shipped on the following Wednesday. Buyer always has the option to purchase insurance. Every item is expertly packed. Buyer pays $1.50 handling fee. Seller not responsible for Post Office mishandling.
