Original Program

Measures 9.5 by 12.5 inches. Cover titles and decoration are embossed and colored with gold ink.
Contains beautiful, full-color illustrations by Leon Bakst (and others), one of which is Nijinsky's Faun character. The colors are bright and beautiful, the pages are clean and bright.
Included the daily insert for the first ever performance in America, held at The Century threatre, January 17, 1916. These nine photos are of the insert. Please click on the to see large versions.
In very good + condition showing minor edge wear, just a bit of soiling and some minor age toning. T are some small rubs to the rear page of the insert and a small tear to the upper edge of the main program.
It is 100% complete and original, down to the blue silk cord that binds it. You could search for years and not find a more handsome copy.
