Agfa Color photo print of Luftwaffe ace pilot Walter “Gulle” Oesauwith his Messerschmitt BF109 . From Luftwaffe 1942 c alendar . Very scarce prints. The other poster shown with Galland Udet and Molders is also for sale but in separate auction. let me know if interested. Those photos were captured by the PK propaganda Kompanie journalist and war reporters who used the world's first color slide film made by AGFA in 1936. Therefore the prints on sale here are not some black and white photos which were colored in the studio. Big size 42cm x 36cm the whole sheet with all the week days. Without that gray part the photo with white boarding is 36 x 35,50 cm. Last image is front cover of 1942 calendar (which I took from his set because my calendar is missing this first frontal cover page) Check my other items also , thanks Walter “Gulle” Oesau was born on 28 June 1913 at Farnewinkel in the Dithmarschen region of Holst. He enlisted in the army in 1933 and served in an artillery regiment. By 1934 he had become a Fahnenjunker and was undertaking flying training with the Deutschen Verkehrsfliegerschule. On completing his flying training he was posted to Jagdgeschwader “Richtofen”. Leutnant Oesau was one of the first fighter pilots to join J/88 in Spain in April 1938. Here he served with 3.
