Original 1950 Gibson J-45 Nice Guitar Item Description This is a great sounding early Gibson J-45 that was produced in 1949 or 1950. It has the early tapered peghead. The number "5634 2" is stamped on the neckblock. These are some of my favorite guitars. This one apparently spent some of it's life in Canada as it has a label inside that reads "Benko Stringed Instruments, 920 Kingston Rd, Toronto 13 Ontario" The guitar is in very good condition with a couple of very tight repaired cracks on the top. T are also quite a few cracks that have been repaired on the sides as well. All are professionally done and with the finish checking that occurs on these guitars they are really not all that noticeable. The bridge has been re slotted for correct intonation. It plays like a dream. The tuner buttons have been replaced and the G string one is bent, but all work correctly. These early J-45s are becoming very scarce and is a chance to get a great deal on one of them. It comes in a hardshell case. This is a true NO RESERVE auction. We will not stop it early for any circumstances. T are no tricks or gimmicks. THIS IS A TOTAL STORE LIQUIDATION AUCTION! This instrument WILL SELL to the highest bidder!!!! You may not get a chance again to get something this nice for this kind of deal ever again. Shipping & Payment PAYMENT IS EXPECTED WITHIN read more
