Very rare original 1951 poster advertising Air France. The famous "Doorway to the World" poster designed by Badia Vilato, with the flying seahorse logo silhouette framing an early space-age image of the Earth and an airplane flying over it. Printed in France. This poster is not in perfect condition, is not mounted, nor framed. There are some wrinkles and tears along the edges, primarily along the left edge. No part is torn off. Most of the damage is in the white margin, and with some professional work it could be mounted so that it would be barely noticeable. There are some small spots here and there and some minor wrinkles in the body of the poster as well, but overall the image is quite intact, and when this poster is properly mounted and/or framed it will look amazing.
