This is a great looking piece of original artwork, water color on artist board done by Norm Saunders, 1955. (Dated and signed) Saunders was a prolific artist from the 1920's - 60's and illustrations featured; classic 1930's era pulp fiction magazine covers, 1940's - 50's comic book covers for Fawcett and others, men's action magazines such as 'Saga' and 'True' and his best known works, the 'Mars Attacks' and 'Civil War' series Topps' gum cards from the early 1960's. This is a western scene showing two horses in the snow, hitched at an evening Christmas scene - illustration is matted and is in great shape with no damages or wear. Measures 14 ½" x 13 ½" overall image is 9 ¾" x 8 ½". This is an original magazine illustration (not sure w it was used) by Norm Saunders that looks & displays very well & is guaranteed old & authentic...shipping is via USPS for $5.95 in US...extra overseas...
