Wow - is a cool 35 film clip from the original series episode, The Cage / The Menagerie. This is an actual clip of 35mm film from the optical print of that episode used by the network to broadcast it. Since this is 35mm and not 16mm, this clip of film likely comes from a network broadcast as oppossed to syndication and may date back to the 1960's. It is likely 40 or more years old as supported by the "pinkish" nature of the film - which happens with age. The film clip is 25 frames of a scene with Jeffery Hunter as Captain Pike and Susan Oliver. A very cool flash from the past for a super low opening bid AND you get 25 frames of this scene - not just one! Thanks for looking and check out my other sci-fi, collectable, toy auctions too!
