Description: The concert dates were June 3-4, 1966 at the famed Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco. The acts on the poster are The Grass Roots (featuring Creed Bratton , now on NBC's The Office), Big Brother & The Holding Company and The Buddha from Muir Beach.This is an original, post-concert printing, number 11-2 in the lower right-hand corner. It measures 14.5" x 20". Condition: T is a torn corner in the lower left-hand of the poster (See Photo). Also, as with all these vintage posters, t are some small rough spots on the edges. This poster has been stored safely and has no water or mold damage and will look beautiful framed and matted. Domestic Shipping: The poster will be shipped flat, secure and insured via USPS Priority Mail. Shipping costs are $17.50. International Shipping: If international buyers are interested, the poster will be sent flat, if possible, for the amount calculated below. If flat shipping is not possible, then the poster can be shipped rolled if desired. History: In 1973 my father, who owned a bookstore at the time, purchased these posters directly from Bob Cohen Posters in San Francisco. Mr. Cohen and his partner Chet Helms were the founders of Family Dog Productions that produced these concerts at the Avalon Ballroom.
