Original 1969 VELVET UNDERGROUND at WOODROSE BALLROOM Handbill This is an original handbill for the Velvet Underground when they played at The Woodrose Ballroom in Deerfield, Massachusetts, circa 1969. It is not a reproduction. The Woodrose Ballroom was a rock concert venue located in Deerfield that used to be an old opera house on the Boston-Hartford-NY circuit. It featured acts like the Velvet Underground, Chuck Berry, Van Morrison, etc. Also playing with them was Country Funk from L.A. This handbill is approximately 7 x 10-3/4 inches on pink paper printed with purple ink and is in very good condition. It is unmounted. The only flaws I found was a slight crease of around an inch in the upper left corner with an indentation in the middle of the crease. It is not a tear or a hole, but an indentation only. There is also a spot of around 1/16th of an inch in the upper left corner that is a darker shade of pink than the rest of the handbill. I cannot tell if it is a printing error or not.
