"Cahuenga" Brooch MPS12B W 1- 3/4" x H 3" $500.00 Handmade cloisonné with a silver plate. It was this 12 piece collection, first released in 1985, that started ACME’s 30 year adventure working with the best design-minds on the planet. In case you did not know, this piece was part of the “Melrose Emblematic” collection, designed by Peter Shire, which was the very first project ACME had ever done. Each brooch is named after a cross street of Melrose Ave. in Los Angeles where ACME’s gallery was located and where Mr. Shire and Adrian first met. These were all produced in 1980s, and taken off the market once ACME began producing pens. They have been locked away safely ever since, but due to ever increasing requests we have decided that it’s time to offer our remaining stock. Supplies are limited and in some cases only one or two remain. Once they are gone, they are gone forever. Peter Shire (American, b. 1947) is a sculptor, furniture maker, ceramicist and jeweler.
