Original 3 weight Second Baroque Vienna Regulator by Gustav Becker in great condition. Grande Sonnerie striking wall clock is in very good working condition with new gut strings. The works, weights, pendulum, levelers, and finial are all original. Believe the case is Walnut, but I am not certain. Serial number 151281 from Gustav Becker's Braunau (Bohemia) factory dates the clock to ca 1880. As with any antique pick-up is preferred method of delivery. Failing this, I have a very sturdy (and heavy) wooden crate made especially for this clock. Crate is included in auction at no charge; however, buyer is responsible for actual shipping costs and insurance if desired. Seller will package clock in very sturdy wood crate with great care, but will not assume liability for any damage caused during shipping. T are no other drill marks in this clock -- it is a glorious example of a very well taken care of Second Baroque Regulator. Believe the case is Walnut, but I am not certain. I have owned this particular piece for over 20 years and in my possession it has never been refinished and does not appear to have been refinished prior to my owning it.
