This auction is for a stunning 5002-T American Flyer Circus Train Set. Purchased from a local estate sale this set is in excellent condition. The set was wrapped in paper and one piece of heavy cardboard and I believe this is the first time it has been taken out of its wrapping. The set looks unused. There is no rust, damage or repairs and everything is Original. The 353 Locomotive and Tender, which were wrapped in the heavy cardboard are in excellent condition with only a couple TINY slivers of missing red paint(only mentioned for accuracy). The 649 Passenger car is marked on each side: AMERICAN FLYER CIRCUS, Worlds Greatest Show!! The bottom reads: AMERICAN FLYER, MFD By A.C. Gilbert CO, New Haven Conn U.S.A. , PA-10454. The condition is excellent with a small portion of the red paint missing from the letters l and d in Worlds(only on one side of the train). This piece actually has what appears to be its original paper covering inside(see photos) and its original bulb(looks like this piece was not used). There are two(2) yellow carriers/flat cars marked: American Flyer Circus on each side. The bottom is embossed: PA-9952, AMERICAN FLYER, MFD By The A.C. GILBERT CO. New Haven Conn, U.S.A. Both carriers/flat cars are in great shape but of all the pieces they appear a little darker yellow with some minimal scratches to the top(very minor). Although somewhat hard to read, the circus cages are marked on the bottom in a small circle: Made in USA Allied. The small green trucks also have the same marking although hard to read. All these pieces are in pristine condition. This set is a time capsule of a train set that was put away over 50 years ago and opened a few days ago. Wonderful set that will be wrapped in bubblewrap and peanuts so that it arrives safely. This is a 5 Day Auction. Any questions please email. Please check my feedback and . Thank You!

P.S. In another box I found a set of railroad tracks and a switch marked: 704 MANUAL ONCOUPLER. I believe it may be part of this set and wil list it separately in another auction on ebay. If you win both auctions, please email me after completion and I can try shipping everything together. Thank You and Please check the other auction.

ALL INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS PLEASE EMAIL ME FOR SHIPPING COST. The shipping cost noted only applies to the Continental USA. Thank You!

I received an email questioning the circus cages(repro or original) and as requested I have added a photo of the trailer hitches(photo #12). I have assumed everything is original as all the items came from the same lot, same box. I am not an expert and if you have any questions or doubts please let me know. I can send additional photos upon request. Any doubts, Do Not bid. Thank You, Stan
