"The Mandella symbolizes the Indian shield of good luck. With this shield they believed the gods would protect them, and by having one in their homes, it would bring them prosperity, good health and happiness." This is an original handmade Mandella. Made of natural sheeps wool, Rabbit fur, leather, wood, Pheasent, and Turkey feathers, beads and conchos. This was made in El Paso, Tx. by Chico Arts in 1983 working with Indians from the Tigua and Navajo tribes creating the original ones!
