Hello, and thanks so much for looking.... is an original painting, done on Agate. This sliced and polished piece of agate originates from Brazil. They come to us either natural, or dyed outrageous colors, like pink, purple and blue. This one has been dyed blue, and is a very nice slice. It has a cave of crystalization in the center, making it a neat slice for this miniature painting. The two Pekingese dogs seem to be magnets for wildlife. They have befriended two Magpie birds, and a squirrel. This little piece was hand done in acrylic paints. It is sealed with a clear acrylic sealer, only on the painting itself. Easy to wipe clean with a damp or soft dry cloth. A large slice that measures 6" x 4 3/4", and comes with a stand. I have signed it " Tricia Smith 2008", with my Shiner Dog logo, on the back of the slice. They are all wonderful with light behind them and much more charming in person. An original painting on a slice of nature....a One of a Kind.Only on ebay am I offering these original agate paintings for a low...no reserve.
