Up for sale are these two original boxing photos c.1925. Both photos are of the period pieces. One photo has the names of each of the boxers in the photo written in pen on the front. On the back side of the photo in pen is written, "This picture was taken when the gym first opened up. The Dempsey Brothers run this club. I train there every day. Jack Dempsey, the Worlds champion is no.1 in this picture and I'm no.3-Mickey Walker, Worlds Welterwt. champion is no. 2 To Ray and yourself. With best wishes from Eddie Cochrane"Also written is "This picture would look good in a frame don't you think so, will i haven't got one, Tee, hee". And, "To Mrs. Violet Olga Cochrane with sincere good wishes for her nineteenth birth day, Eddie"Eddie Cochrane was the light heavyweight champion of CanadaThe overall size of the photo measures approximately 9 3/8" W x 7 5/8" L. The photograph with writing in it is in "as is" condition with tears, stains and small pieces missing. The other photograph is in fair condition with some corner creases & a couple of small tears .
