This auction is for a Wonderful Original Emeralite Banker's Desk Lamp....This is all original....Model #8734, Pat. Aug. 15, 1916....This lamp has a large brass base with a nice decorative square bottom.....it has a great architectural style....It has a dark green cased glass shade. The shade is marked with the painted Emeralite label on the back, "Emeralite, No. 8734 Pat'd May 11, 1909 Made in USA"....The lamp also has the original metal Emeralite label on the inside top of the base w the shade sits...It says, "Pat. Aug 15, 1916, Emeralite, No. 8734 Type , H G McFaddin & Co.New York, USA....The bottom of the base is marked 8734....This lamp also has the original "Daylite Attachment" (see pics)...this is a glass plate that fits under the bulb so the lamp could be used in daytime....these are extremely rare and hard to find!! The cord is in good condition....This lamp is in perfect working order and in great condition....This measures 18 inches tall, the base is 7 inches square...the shade is 8 1/2 inches across, 5 inches deep....You won't see many like this!!
