The map is handsomely colored in outline and is finely detailed, with topography shown in relief. There are three insets: Rome, Naples, and Malta. The geographical boundaries reflect the political landscape at the time, with the Kingdom of Lombardy-Venetia still part of Austria, Naples part of the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies, and Turin the capital of the Kingdom of Sardinia.
Condition: The map is in excellent condition , bright and clean, with some very faint spotting in the lower margin, outside of the image area. There are no rips or tears, and it is blank on the back, with no printing on the reverse side.
