ART DECO COMPACT OCTAGONAL GUILLOCHE ENAMEL A really pretty octagonal Art Deco compact with the original Coty powder puff. The interior has a revolving plate, one section of which is pierced for use and the other section is closed to contain the powder. There are no chips to the enamel, though there are some faint scratches to the lid and the base has some deeper scratches. Small scratch (½ inch long) to mirror (visible in photo 2). Otherwise a very attractive item, in a lovely rich blue and the octagonal shape is less common than the hexagonal examples. Measures 2 ¼ inches/5 ½ cm in diameter.
