He opened a painting business working with interior designers. These designers soon discovered his artistic ability's and suddenly he found himself painting murals. His Trompe L'Oeil Murals grace the walls of many homes, from the prestigious Fisher Island to Key West and Palm Beach. FL. Del Ponte has worked commissions all over the United States, sold paintings all over the world. He has won numerous awards over the years. His work has been exhibited statewide. Recent Mural inside the lobby of the World Famous RIVERSIDE HOTEL on Las Olas. Del Ponte's versatile mediums include oil, acrylic, and watercolor, portraiture, also street painting and performance art. In recent years he is enjoying the challenges of going outdoors on site in the elements with a blank canvas and capturing the scene in his unique style and expressionism colors.
