This painting is unframed. oil on Panel As good as this painting looks ..Keep in mind it will look much richer when you see it in person The camera never does my artwork justice...t are just too many beautiful little nuances that the sensitive marvelous human eye perceives and distinguishes but not the mechanical lens of a camera. Edmondson's paintings are painted in the old world style of Rembrandt, Caravaggio, Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, and Titian plus a variety of Painterly techniques employed since the great old masters. Check out my other items on eBay! When I do a painting I often do a small version to see if it works as well on canvas as it does in my head. These smaller paintings are now being offered for sale on eBay. These or done in the spirit of one-a-day paintings or everyday paintings. I prefer to paint 8" x 10" as my smallest size but sometimes I will find a subject that works well on a 6" x 6" hardboard panel as well. I truly hope you enjoy. W hen I first started selling paintings in galleries the only frames I could afford were the hobby store type. Being very dissatisfied with the look and quality I set out to learn how to make frames. So I started making my own frames and soon other artists wanted them too so I started a framing business and while the frames were in high demand I was pulled further and further away from my art so I had to stop. In 2006 I quit framing for other artists but I still make my own frames including this one. Other frames are available for this painting if you want a different look.
