A relic of one of the greatest Popes in history, Pope John Paul II (1978-2005) A beautiful original photo, taken by Arturo Mari, the personal photographer of the Pope, mounted on a printed frame by the "Atelier B. Donelli" with the Pope's name (in German), the papal arms and a quote from Psalm 33,22: "Let your grace shine over us, oh Lord, because we look out for you". The photo was autographed by John Paul II in Latin during the Great Jubilee, the Holy Year 2000, the highlight of his Pontificate, what makes this a very significant memorabilia: Joannes Paulus PP. II A.D. 2000 The authenticity of the blue ink signature is confirmed by the rubber stamp seal of the "Archivum Secretum Apostolicum Vaticanum", the Secret Archives of the Vatican. Most probably, a German coworker of the Secret Archives requested this signature and got it confirmed by one of the archivists, who have exclusive access to this seal. It's an excellent verification from inside the Vatican! On May 13, 2005, Pope Benedict XVI opened the beatification process of John Paul II.
