Original M2 Box & 1943 Dated Full 8-Rd-Clip 30.06 M1Garand-Inert Display Rounds This is an original 1943-dated WWII en-bloc clip of eight completely inert 30.06 rounds for the US M1 Garand Service Rifle. These are not Modern Brass and Balls, like others offered on ebay, but original antique WWII Govt Issue. These rounds have been made inert by my spending the primer and removing the powder from the brass, then replacing the US Mil spec .30 cal ball. The rounds were originally manufactured by the Lake City Ordnance Plant in 1943. The Brass is clearly marked by the Head Stamp L.C. 43. The clip itself is WWII parkerized and has no specified OEM marking. The brass has been sized during the de-milling process to allow the cartridge to be cycled in any 30.06 action. Included with the clip is the original near-mint WWII M2 box in the pic, within which the rounds were originally packed in 1943 when they left the Lake City Plant. This clip makes a great as-authentic-as-you-can-get display for your M1 Garand. Because they are totally inert, they can be displayed safely under all conditions. I have sold these clips with boxes before, but this is my last box on hand. These rounds are completed inert and have been partially filled with an epoxy as to not allow them to ever be made serviceable. They comply with all USPS shipping regulations and read more
