WESTERN ELECTRIC PHONE & TRANSFORMER
This is a listing for a vintage candlestick phone with the wooden transformer box. Both the telephone and the box are marked "Western Electric". Transformer box is in very good condition - original finish on the oak wood and great details in the dovetailing. Crank will no longer turn. I think it's just wound too tight. Stick telephone is also in great condition. Ear piece is perfect, mouthpiece has no cracks, just a small flake-off as shown in the close-up. On top of telephone, it is marked "Western Electric 128-B". On the back of the phone, it is marked "40AL". The box has a decal or label that says "Western Electric - Patented - See Dates Inside". The phone is 12" high, the box is 10" by 8" by 6". Fabric wires are worn and frayed. If the pictures do not come up, or you would like to see another view, please email me.
