Vintage Herman Miller Charles Eames Rocker Circa 1954This is Eames at his best! Simple, Functional and Great Design!This is a 100% original Charles Eames for Herman Miller "RAR" Rocking Armchair on Rods. Parchment or (Cream) colored fiberglass shell, with black metal rods and beech runners. The chair is completely original, the base is original to the chair and the shockmounts. The chair is in Excellent condition, no breaks, no cracks, no signs of ware on the arms, and no fading! The base is also in Excellent condition, no breaks, no rewelds, no paint wares or chips. The beach runners are beautiful, also in Excellent condition, with very little ware on the bottoms. The screws are all original, the shockmounts strong and supple with minimal signs of their age, the whole chair is Amazingly Clean with little or no obvious ware, just lovely! This is a must have!! The pictures show the bottoms of the runners and arms of the chair. The original "Patent" label is still intact on the bottom of the chair.
