This is a classic Chelsea Clock Company of Boston Mass Marine Clock -- in brass case -- in fantastic condition. All the threads on the case and bezel are in perfect condition. The base of the case measures about 4.75 in diameter -- and the movement runs. It's about 2" deep or so. It is as nice as they come -- just as found ---- it appears that someone painted the hands red during its lifetime (may have even been original), but the original bluish steel is under. There are a few typical age spots on the face (a few dark areas), but this clock has never been tampered with, and the serial number 21384 stamped on the back of the case matches the one on the movement, which is as good as it gets. This clock has all the right patina in all the right places. Good luck.
