1. If you purchase the chair and want it disassembled, damage may occur to the screws or the wood may become scratched. I will take great care of it, but I am giving you fair warning. I believe that disassembling the chair would big a great mistake, it will lose value, and I will not be held responsible for it after you buy it. I propose that you hire someone to ship it. It has never been taken apart. I believe that I can ship this in a box for under $100.00 anywhere in the Continental United States. I am off tomorrow and I will get a s hipping quote. 2. I have added three more pictures of a few cracks. These do not affect the integrity of the chair and I believe that they were caused by shrinkage of the wood. 3. There is a little glue stuck to the seat of the chair. Probably from a label. It can be easily removed. I have owned this chair for about three years. Original Description: An original Norman Cherner Pretzel chair made by Plycraft. Original Label. Someone pointed out that this chair is an early model and that the #102 written on the bottom of the chair could actually be a production number. In clean unwaxed condition. A few little nicks but as far as I can see no missing pieces. Only two white plastic glides on the feet, which I removed because one was on the front leg and one was on the rear leg. I will include them with the chair. I can reattach them to the front or back. You let me know. Just a great chair. Check out my other auctions. I have added a few more pictures. The veneer is book matched on the back and on the seat. There is a little white paint on the right arm chair and a small bruise. The chair has a great patina and is worthy of any mid-century modern collection. The chair could be cleaned, but I am not going to do anything to it. This can be picked up in Hoboken, New Jersey or at my storage unit in Jersey City, NJ. I can assist with shipping. Buyer pays shipping.
