I believe this is a non dug and original Civil War Sword. The Blade measures about 32 inches and the Brass handle another 6 1/5 inches. The blade is marked US. The overall condition is fair but t are some places on the blade with minor rust that need some work. The scabbard is missing the leather. It is made of rolled iron with brass top in great shape and a brass drag somewhat banged up. I will leave that to the experts. If you send me your email address, I will gladly send you more pics.
