* Professionally Matted & Framed * * Anti-UV Glass * 22.5 x 20 inches * ORIGINAL artwork - Green Lantern Emerald Dawn #3 Page 19 , by artist Mark D. Bright , published 1990. The miniseries retold and updated the story of how Hal Jordan became Green Lantern of Sector 2814. This page was the first on-panel appearance of the character of Legion that was not part of a flashback (as indicated by the dialogue, Hal was watching a recording of Legion's rampage when the real Legion suddenly appeared). Also included within the frame are a copy of the page as printed, a portion of the cover of that issue with the series logo and issue number, and a metal plaque identifying the issue and the artist's name. The artwork has been professionally framed (a sticker identifying the frame shop appears on the reverse). Another sticker on the back identifies the glass as protective anti-ultraviolet glass. The original page and the as-published copy have been inserted into a thick mat, with openings cut at an attractive slanted angle, and thus sit a millimeter or so behind the glass. The mat is, of course, dark green. I believe the frame is lacquered wood, though I may be mistaken. The entire back of the frame is covered with paper.
