This is an original CS Richmond variation tongue in wreath belt plate. This plate exhibits a rich brown patina with verdigris in various spots. This plate is actually a little darker than the pictures show and has a smooth appearence to the file marks on reverse showing a lot of age and wear to the back and to the front. T is a casting flaw on the lower part of the S and the belt loop on the tongue is slightly bent from wear stress. Otherwise this plate is in Very Good Condition and exhibits no major flaws but does show use and wear. A really nice original item.
