ORIGINAL "DAN NIETO" NAVAJO SPIRIT BEAR STERLING AND TURQUOISE BELT BUCKLE WITH BLACK ONYX CONCHOS AND LEATHER BELT EXCELLENT CONDITION This is a sterling silver "Dan Nieto" concho belt. This is a ladies belt as the conchos are smaller and the belt measures 30" from the end of the buckle to the last hole in the belt. The leather is 1" wide and a thin belt strap but is in very good shape with no visible cracks. There are 9 conchos that measure 1 1/2" x 1 1/8". Each bear claw concho is set with a black onyx. The Bear Spirit Buckle is 3" x 2 5/8. The turquoise stone is 1 1/4” x 1” with pyrite spidering through out. The back of the buckle is clearly marked with the artists’ stamp of “Dan Nieto” (see picture). The entire belt weighs approximately 6.5 oz. This belt is in excellent condition and does not appear to have been worn. The silver is in need of polishing. This is a really beautiful belt by a renown Navajo artist.
