Absolutely all ORIGINAL Black and White front cover art by DANIEL CLOWES This was the original front cover for Your Flesh # 27 (As a nicety and for posterity, winning bidder, along with the original artwork will receive free of charge a copy of the publication this cover was created for.) QUITE EASILY ONE OF THE SINGLE MOST TWISTED THINGS THE ARTIST HAS EVER CREATED Professionally framed piece measures 13" x 17" Preserved flat and framed under glass in absolutely pristine condition. As originally commissioned by me from the artist back in 1993 for publication and ultimately for my own personal collection. I am not an art dealer. I am merely a publisher and collector raising money for future projects. I am not offering other original art by this artist but please feel free to write and ask whatever you like so long as it is in regards to this piece specifically ABOUT THE ARTIST: Dan Clowes is arguably one of THEE pre-emminent cartoonists of his generation. His comic series Eightball was one of the cornerstones of the Indie comics explosion. He's been the recipient of numerous industry awards including multiple Harvey Awards. His last comic âeoeThe Death Rayâe (Eightball #23) won an Eisner Award for Best Single Issue/Single Story and is currently being adapted as a feature motion picture. Clowes was nominated for an Academy Award for his screenplay for Ghost World . In addition, t are currently three major films in various stages of development with his screenwriting credit attached. Clowes' work as an Illustrator and Designer includes the movie poster for the film Happiness by Todd Solondz, package designs for the Coca Cola company, and a music video for the Ramones. His most recent comics work has been serialized in The New York Times .
