This an original early WW1 good condition German sniper plate. The plate, which is a rare find, is in relic but solid condition, and would clean up with some effort. This was found along with other items were recovered approximately two months ago, from a field in the area of which in 1916 was called the Leipzig redoubt, which was on the German front line in front of the village of Thiepval, which was attacked on the 1st of July 1916; during the first day of the battle of the Somme. A very nice relic from the famous Somme battlefield. LEIPZIG REDOUBT AS IT IS TODAY.Please note this is a solid item, and to ship internationally will be expensive.
