M1 Carbine Stock Set This is an original matching WWII walnut M1 Carbine stock set. The early war two-rivet variation handguard is stamped IO for the S.E. Overton Company, Inland's stock supplier during the war. The main stock's markings are no longer legible, but due to its near perfect match with the handguard I tend to believe it is also IO. The main stock is a low wood variation with oval sling well. It has not been modified with the M2 cut-out. Both pieces have been nicely refinished, however they do exhibit some light wear. They are not cracked, otherwise damaged, or repaired. The stock set comes complete with original butt plate, barrel band retainer, and recoil plate.
