A beautiful winged, high -back Edwardian armchair, in Queen Anne style. This is not a reproduction chair - it was bought at the Antiques Warehouse in Kingston 13 years ago and is a genuine antique, Edwardian, turn of the century chair. At the time of purchase, it had just been fully reupholstered in blue/stone damask. The blue has faded slightly (but is better for it, in my opinion) and there is slight discolouration to the arms where hands have rested on them but, due to the colour of the fabric, you really can't tell unless you get right up close. There is also a small split in the fabric across one arm (see the last photo), which could be easily repaired if you know what you are doing. Alas, I don't! Otherwise, the fabric is still in great condition. As indeed is the chair itself - it is solid and heavy and structurally very sound. It is only for sale due to a change of decor and a surfeit of armchairs! The cushion pad is a feather one - nice and plumpfy - and the cover is zipped, so easily removable. Dark wood Queen Anne legs/feet at the front and straighter legs at the back. Scrolled arms. The maximum dimensions are 91cms high x 90cms deep x 75cms wide. The linen scatter cushion that you see is not included. You are welcome to view (please send me a message to arrange a mutually convenient time) before bidding. You will need read more
