Helmet Stand Is Not Included in this Auction. Luft No Decal German WW2 Helmet, mid war production, QUIST Q62 M40 Model Helmet in just Beautiful ALL ORIGINAL Condition. Not a rework helmet or rework liner. Excellent Condition all around. Leather liner is made thick and is in that great cream color condition, we all highly like! Leather is also marked on reverse side toward rear of liner with a nice big ink stamp, JUNI 1943 BO 56. Original Drawstring in same condition as liner, excellent. Too much old dust between the liner band walls and the side of the helmet shell to read those markings. I'm not going to clean the heavy dust off to read those markings. An original German WW2 zinc liner band, for sure. Shell is a mid war Quist Helmet as marked at the back of the helmet inside, Q62 and DN383 manufacturing lot. The original paint color on the helmet suggests to me this is a Luftwaffe No Decal Helmet. A no adler Air Foce Decal Helmet. Production Year of the entire helmet and it's components was probably mid 1943. Many pictures posted for a good review.
